OVID Health partners with HexTransforma Healthcare to give patients more ownership of their care



OVID Health (OVID), the independent specialist healthcare communications agency, today announced it is working with Brighton-based health-tech company HexTransforma Healthcare (HexTransforma), to help develop and deliver the organisation’s PR strategy, including the launch of two products before the end of the year.

With the far-reaching impact of the COVID-19 pandemic still emerging, patients’ treatment and care continues to be disrupted, with global health systems under huge pressure to restore services and cut backlogs – particularly for people waiting for non-urgent surgery and treatment.

Through digital innovation, HexTransforma aims to give patients greater ownership of their care across different parts of the healthcare system. They want to enable more joined-up care where people have more than one disease, and allow clinicians to make treatment decisions based on the whole patient journey.

The company’s products include AI-driven machine learning solutions to remotely triage orthopaedic patients, as well as identifying post-operative complications and infections that require attention, without the need for resource-intensive hospital and GP visits. It is also delivering the first global self-service, Book-To-Theatre platform for medical tourism.

OVID’s strategic support is focussed on building brand awareness of the company, its products and leadership team.
