16 Aug OVID Health celebrates 1st birthday with high-profile coverage of social care campaign
OVID Health’s expertise is in public affairs, campaigns and policy communications. The past 12 months has seen the consultancy enjoy rapid growth, a move to offices in Chiswick and new team members, including most recently Victoria Shillito, former Head of Media at Diabetes UK as an Associate Director.
In the past year OVID has won 18 client briefs and worked for the likes of cancer charities ACT for Cancer and The Eve Appeal, membership body The NHS Confederation and health tech company Circular Wave, amongst others.
Client briefs have spanned corporate communications, reputation management, NHS engagement, independent providers, media relations, public affairs, high-profile creative projects and national awareness campaigns on topics like social care and gynaecological cancer.
The agency has also embedded its pro bono advice service for small to medium-sized health charities – having so far delivered strategic advice for: The Batten Family Disease Association, C3 Collaborating for Health, Paintings in Hospitals and Hft.
Jenny Ousbey, Managing Director of OVID Health said: “Our vision for OVID was always to combine original thinking, top-notch delivery and a deep integrated knowledge of the health and life sciences sector for our clients in a truly personalised agency set-up.
“Growing OVID over the past year has been an absolute pleasure – and that’s mainly down to our wonderful team and clients. I feel clients have really embraced our ethos – and they love our combination of deep policy expertise, cultural commitment to pro bono advice combined with political and media-savvy thinking. Over the coming year we’ll be adding some exciting clients to our roster, as well as some extremely talented colleagues, so watch this space!”
OVID’s future plans include the launch of a new website in the Autumn, plus the expansion of its pharmaceutical communications expertise in the coming months.
