ACT for Cancer was established in the last few months of the late Dame Tessa Jowell’s life. The charity has a pioneering vision to promote adaptive clinical trials and personalised treatments for untreatable cancers. OVID played an integral role in shaping ACT’s launch and mission by creating and delivering its strategic communications and social media function. OVID now acts as its press office and campaigns support arm and has so far achieved huge amounts of profile in the media, as well as securing numerous high-level stakeholder meetings and policy change in the field of brain cancer.
